TECHNICAL DETAILS OF FIRE RATED STEEL DOOR
GENERAL:
- Material: Electrolytic Zinc Coated Steel sheet complying with ASTM A653.
- Cutouts: Both frame and leaf have pre-punched cut-out to specific ironmongery.
FRAME PROFILE: - Material: 2mm (14 Guague) EGI sheet.
- Frame Rebate: Double Frame Rebate
- Jam Depth: 230mm
- Structural Opening: Frame Size-10mm more in Width & 5mm more in Height.
- Frame Construction: Three sided frame-Mitre welded along the face of the frame installed with a minimum of 8 through bolt type.
- Corner Construction: Welded.
- Ironmongery: Frame reinforced to receive hinges, lock strike plate with protective steel mortar guard welded with frame.
- Door Sealant: Fire rated rubber seal with adhesive fix in the door frame for silent proof and dust proof.
LEAF: - Construction: Hollow metal double skin seam type door with interlocking and welded arrangement at the stile edges. inverted top and bottom C-channel for a rigid and integrally closed leaf construction.
- Leaf Sheet Thickness: 1.5mm (16 Guague).
- Leaf thickness: 45mm
- Undercut: 5 -10mm
- Infill: Fiberglass Core Steel stiffened infill with fiberglass wool filled in the voids between the adjacent stiffeners.
- Impact test: Capable to bare Impact load equivalent to a steel sphere weighing 15Kg (equal to 14.71 bar)
- Reinforcement: Pre-drilled hinge plates for screw mounted fixing Box shaped reinforcement for selected ironmongery piece inside the door leaf. Concealed lock box with lock fixing brackets with pre-tapped holes.
- Fire Rating: Tested for 132 Minuts as per the BS 476 Part 20-22
- Glazing / Vision Panel:
Fire-rated glazing panel – 7.2mm thick AGC make vision glass.
Glazing Frame – 1.5mm thick steel sheet profile one side welded other side fixed with screw. - Finishing (As per RAL Color):
Primer top coat-Corro-Zinc primer (Jotun Primax) top coat applied to pretreated steel.
Final Powder Coat–Polyster Powder Coating Standard RAL Colour. Texture 90-120 microns.
